The gardens comprise of fruit and nut trees, a small wooded area and plenty of areas to dine "al fresco". There is a barbeque area as well as a plancha table (an alfresco dining experience www.redhotplancha.com).
There are many modern Italian sun loungers, tables and chairs and a large umbrella. Lacapelle Biron has essential shops, an English speaking doctor, a pharmacy, a post office, butchers, patisserie and a restaurant as well as an excellent local caterer if you would like a special meal cooked at the house.
If you like adventure and have a head for heights then Parc en Ciel the local adventure park is worth the day out. The park is cleverly designed for the casual climber or the serious thrill seeker. A tennis court is situated in the village.
45 minutes drive from Bergerac airport, Lacapelle Biron is ideally sited for trips into the wine regions of Duras, Cahors and of course Bergerac, each region having its own unique landscape and architecture. An abundance of bastide towns, traditional local markets and ancient monuments mean that you are never very far from something to see.
There is wireless broadband in the house which can be accessed free of charge. We have a table tennis table in the side barn and plenty of tennis rackets to use at the local tennis courts within the village of Lacapelle Biron.
